Lower A-Pillar Trim

• Removal and installation are described for the left side of the vehicle. Removal and installation for the right side are performed in the same manner.

Removal

- Remove the side instrument panel cover. Refer to => [ Side Instrument Panel Covers ] Side Instrument Panel Covers.

- Remove the center A-pillar trim. Refer to => [ Center A-Pillar Trim ] Center A-Pillar Trim.

- Remove the hood release lever on the driver side.

- Remove the B-pillar trim. Refer to => [ B-Pillar Trim ] B-Pillar Trim.

- Unclip the sill panel trim - 1 - from the B-pillar - arrow A -.






- Unclip the sill panel trim from the longitudinal member - arrow B -.

- Unscrew the bolt - 1 - on the driver side (2 Nm).






- Pull the trim - 2 - in the upper area inward out of the mounts in the body.

- Unclip the trim from the longitudinal member.

Installation

- Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

• Check whether the trim is in the door seal piping after installation.
