Preparing Components for Adhesion

Clean the adhesive surfaces before applying the primer.

For 2K windshield adhesive (DA 004 600 A2)

- Prepare the adhesive surface with plastic primer (D 009 600).

- Apply the 2K adhesive (DA 004 600 A2) on the marked locations on the attachment with a double cartridge pistol (VAS 5237).

For two-sided adhesive tape (D 438 515 A1)

- Clean the adhesive surface for the two-sided adhesive tape (D 438 515 A1) thoroughly with adhesive remover (D 002 000 10).

- Apply two-sided tape (D 438 515 A1) along the specified adhesive surfaces free of tension and with no creases.

Apply the two-sided adhesive tape (D 438 515 A1) and cut it exactly without lifting or loosening the tape, otherwise the tape will not adhere as well.
