Lock Carrier Cover

Removing

• Remove the spare wheel cover from the vehicle.

- Remove the supports. Refer to => [ Supports ] Supports.

- Unclip the lock carrier cover - 1 - using the wedge (T10383/1) in the area of the clips - arrows - from the lock carrier.






Installation

• Before installation, inspect the retaining clips for damage and replace if necessary.

- Position the lock carrier cover - 1 - at the outer ends via the centering pins in the corresponding body mounts.

- Bend the rear lid seal piping and pull it over the edge of the lock carrier cover.

- Engage the lock carrier cover into the body by pushing in the area of the clips - arrows -.

To prevent damage, never hit the lock carrier cover during installation!
