Rear Lid Control Module (J605)

The rear lid control module is installed behind the rear lid trim panel, in the center under the rear window wiper motor.

Removal

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove the lower rear lid trim panel..

- Disconnect the connectors - arrows -.






- Press both retainers - 1 - and disengage them from the holes in the rear lid.






- Unhook the lower hooks - 2 - and remove the rear lid control module - 3 -.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Code the new rear lid control module after installing it. Refer to => [ Rear Lid Control Module (J605), Coding ] Testing and Inspection.
