Front Door Lamps and Switches







Interior Monitoring (E267) and Vehicle Inclination Deactivation Switch (E360)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Trim Removal Wedge (VAS 3409)

When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying tool (plastic wedge, screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.

The anti-theft alarm system must be deactivated in order to remove the interior monitoring deactivation switch and deactivate vehicle inclination sensor button.

The Interior monitoring deactivation switch and Vehicle inclination sensor deactivation button compose one component.

The interior monitoring deactivation switch and the vehicle inclination sensor deactivation button are located inside the driver side door trim panel.

Removal

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove the driver door trim panel..

- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.






- Press the retainers in - direction of arrow - and remove the switch - 1 - from the driver door trim panel.






- Disengage retaining tabs - arrows - and remove switch from installation frame.






Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.
