Front Door Lamps and Switches

Interior Monitoring (E267) and Vehicle Inclination Deactivation Switch (E360)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (VAS 3409)

When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying tool (plastic wedge, screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.

• The anti-theft alarm system must be deactivated in order to remove the interior monitoring deactivation switch and deactivate vehicle inclination sensor button.

• The Interior monitoring deactivation switch and Vehicle inclination sensor deactivation button compose one component.

• The interior monitoring deactivation switch and the vehicle inclination sensor deactivation button are located inside the driver side door trim panel.

Removal

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove the driver door trim panel..

- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.






- Press the retainers in - direction of arrow - and remove the switch - 1 - from the driver door trim panel.






- Disengage retaining tabs - arrows - and remove switch from installation frame.






Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.
