Charge Air Cooler

Charge Air Cooler

- Remove the radiator. Refer to => [ Radiator ] Radiator.

- Remove the bumper cover.

- Unclip the left and right air guides from the lock carrier.

- Remove the charge air cooler mount bolts - arrows -.






- Remove the Air Conditioning (A/C) condenser bolts - arrows - from the charge air cooler.






- Secure the A/C condenser with a cable tie to the lock carrier.

- Remove the charge air cooler downward.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Hose connections and charge air system hoses must be free of oil and grease before installing. For connector couplings, the seal and sealing surfaces must only be lightly oiled. Refer to => [ Charge Air Hose, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Charge Air Hose, Disconnecting and Connecting.
