License Plate Lamp Bulb

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1783)

Removing

- Remove the license plate lamp. Refer to => [ License Plate Lamp (X) ] Service and Repair.

- Push the contact plates in direction of arrow and remove the bulb.






License plate lamp bulb: tubular bulb 12V, 5W

Installing

• There is a small silver protective strip - arrow - applied to the license plate lamp lens. This strip must always face the bumper when installing the lens.






- Tighten the screws to 1.2 Nm.
