Front Cup Holder

Removing

If the front cup holder is defective - 1 - then it can be replaced only one time. Replacing the lower part of the center console is not required.






- Switch off the ignition.

- Remove the Electro-Mechanical Parking Brake Button (E538).

- Remove the center console cover. Refer to => [ Center Console Cover ] Center Console Cover

- Remove the trim on both sides of the footwell. Refer to => [ Footwell Trim ] Footwell Trim

Vehicles with a Center Console without a Center Armrest

- Remove the center console, without center armrest. Refer to => [ Center Console without Armrest ] Center Console without Armrest

Vehicles with a Center Console with a Center Armrest

- Remove the DVD and/or CD player if present.

- If equipped, remove the mount for the "iPod" from "Apple".

- Remove the storage compartment with USB connection, if present

- Remove the multi media system control module, if present

Vehicles with Multi Media System

- Remove the multi media control module.

Vehicles with Converter with Socket, 12V, 230V (U13)

- Remove the converter with socket, 12 V-230 VV (U13).

- Remove the center console trim. Refer to => [ Center Console Trim ] Center Console Trim

- Remove the center console, with center armrest. Refer to => [ Center Console with Armrest ] Center Console with Armrest

Exchanging the front cup holder is identical to exchanging the rear cup holder. Refer to => [ Rear Cup Holder ] Rear Cup Holder

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
