Selector Mechanism Overview






1 Selector Handle With Cover

• Do not remove the handle unnecessarily. For emergency release, only the cover must be removed. Refer to => [ Selector Lever, Emergency Release ] Procedures.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle and Cover ] Selector Lever Handle and Cover.

2 Center Console Cover

• For the selector mechanism.

• Removing and installing.

3 Selector Mechanism

• Do not grease the selector lever cable.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Selector Mechanism ] Selector Mechanism.

• Checking, refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable, Checking ] Testing and Inspection.

• Adjusting, refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable, Adjusting ] Adjustments.

4 Screw

• 8 Nm

5 Nut

• 8 Nm

• Quantity: 4

6 Gearshift Housing

• Available only together with the selector mechanism, refer to the Parts Catalog.

7 Bracket

• For the selector lever cable.

8 Selector Lever Cable

• Must not be removed from the selector mechanism and is replaced together as a single component.
