Seat Belt Height Adjuster

• Removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle is described here. Removing and installing on the right side is identical.

Removing

- Remove the upper B-pillar trim. Refer to => [ B-Pillar Trim ] B-Pillar Trim.

• It is not necessary to remove the belt end fitting or the guide bracket from the seat belt.

- Remove the bolt - 1 - (40 Nm) and the seat belt ring - 2 - from the seat belt height adjuster - 3 -.






- Remove the bolt - 1 - (20 Nm) and the seat belt height adjuster - 2 - from the mounts - 3 -.






Installation

- Install the seat belt height adjuster - 2 - into the mounts - 3 -.

- Tighten the bolt - 1 - (20 Nm).

- Push the seat belt height adjuster mount - 4 - all the way in - direction of arrow -.

• The seat belt height adjuster mount - 4 - must be in the highest position in order to install the B-pillar trim. The set breaking point can tear in any other position.

- Install in reverse order of removal.






- Install the upper B-pillar trim. Refer to => [ B-Pillar Trim ] B-Pillar Trim.
