Door Assembly Overview

• The illustration shows the left side. The right side is identical.

• Always replace the door hinge bolts if they have been loosened.






1 Rear door

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Door ] Door

• Adjusting, refer to => [ Door, Adjusting ] Door, Adjusting

2 Door hinge

• The hinge has two sections.

• A bolt - 8 - attaches the upper section to the lower section.

3 Bolt

• Always replace, loosening one time to adjust the rear door is permissible

• Tightening specification: 20 Nm + 90°

4 Bolt

• Always replace, loosening one time to adjust the rear door is permissible

• Tightening specification: 20 Nm + 90°

• Follow all other tightening specifications after replacing the B-pillar. Refer to => [ Door, Installing after Replacing B-Pillar ] Door, Installing after Replacing B-Pillar.

5 Bolt

• Always replace, loosening one time to adjust the rear door is permissible

• Tightening specification: 20 Nm + 90°

• Installed from the inside of the vehicle

• It is necessary to remove the B-pillar lower trim.

• Follow all other tightening specifications after replacing the B-pillar. Refer to => [ Door, Installing after Replacing B-Pillar ] Door, Installing after Replacing B-Pillar.

6 Door hinge

• The hinge has two sections.

• A bolt - 8 - attaches the lower section to the upper section.

7 Cover

• Place over the bolt - 8 -

8 Bolt

• Attaches the upper section of the hinge - 2 - to the lower section of the hinge - 6 -

• Tightening specification: 23 Nm

9 Bolt

• Quantity: 2

• Tightening specification: 9 Nm

10 Door strap

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Door Strap ] Door Strap

11 Bolt

• Tightening specification: 30 Nm
