Servicing the Clutch






1 Bolt

• 60 Nm + and additional 90° (1/4) turn.

• Always replace.

2 Dual Mass Flywheel

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Dual Mass Flywheel ] Dual Mass Flywheel.

• Assembly is only possible in one position because of the offset holes.

3 Sensor Wheel

• For the engine speed sensor.

4 Engine Speed Sensor (G28)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Engine Speed Sensor G28 ] Service and Repair.

5 Bolt

• 5 Nm

6 Alignment Pin

• Quantity: 2

7 Intermediate Plate

• Be careful not to damage or bend it when installing, refer to => [ Intermediate Plate, Installing ].

8 Sealing Flange, Flywheel Side

• With the seal.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Sealing Flange, Transmission Side ] Service and Repair.

9 Bolt

• Tightening sequence and specification, refer to => [ Sealing Flange Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification ].

Intermediate Plate, Installing





- Hang the intermediate plate on the sealing flange - upper arrow - and slide it on the alignment sleeves - lower arrows -.
