• 1 Always replace

• 2 Install using locking compound, refer to the Parts Catalog

• 3 Do not lubricate or grease the threads or collar

Cylinder Head Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification






- Tighten the cylinder head cover bolts in sequence - 1 through 6 - to 9 Nm.

• Replace the cylinder head bolts.

- Tighten the bolts in 4 steps in the sequence shown:
