Steering Column Combination Switch (E595), Valeo

Follow the specified sequence when removing and installing steering column switch components. Refer to => [ Steering Column Switch Components, Removal and Installation Sequence ] Steering Column Switch Components, Removal and Installation Sequence.

Removing

- Remove the steering wheel.

- Remove the steering column trim.

- Remove the steering column electronics control module (J527). Refer to => [ Steering Column Electronics Control Module (J527), Valeo ] Steering Column Electronics Control Module (J527), Valeo.

- Open the tabs - arrows - and remove the steering column combination switch (E595) from the steering column switch base carrier.






Installing

- Slide the steering column combination switch into the guides on the steering column switch base carrier until it latches secure.

Further installation is done in reverse order of removal.
