Airbag System Component Location Overview






1 Front passenger airbag unit

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Front Passenger Airbag ] Front Passenger Airbag

2 Front passenger side curtain airbag

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Head Curtain Airbag ] Head Curtain Airbag

3 Airbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) (K75)

4 Side airbag, front passenger side

• Removing and Installing, refer to=> [ Front Side Airbag ] Front Side Airbag

5 Rear shelf/rear wall upper section with LATCH child seat anchorages

• Parcel shelf, removing and installing => [ Rear Shelf ] Rear Shelf

• The anchor brackets cannot be removed or installed. They are welded to the rear wall.

• Do not try to repair or adjust the anchor brackets.

• Replace any deformed anchor brackets.

6 Airbag Control Module (J234)

7 Side airbag, driver side

• Removing and Installing, refer to=> [ Driver Side Airbag ] Driver Side Airbag

8 Diagnostic connection (U31)

• Connection for Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B) or succeeding model

9 Driver airbag unit

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Airbag Unit with Igniter ] Airbag Unit with Igniter

10 Driver side side curtain airbag

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Head Curtain Airbag ] Head Curtain Airbag
