Rear Interior Lamp (W43)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Removal Wedge (3409)

• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

• When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying tool ( (3409) , screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.

The rear interior lamp (W43) consists of

• Rear interior lamp (W43)

• Left rear reading lamp (W11)

• Right rear reading lamp (W12)

• Removal and installation of all lamps is identical. Refer to => [ Rear Interior Lamp (W43) Bulb ] Rear Interior Lamp (W43) Bulb.

• The interior lamp buttons cannot be removed. In the event of malfunction, the entire assembly must be replaced.

Removing

- Open the tabs - arrows - and remove the trim and diffusion lens from the interior lamp.






- Releases the tabs - arrows - and remove the interior lamp from the headliner.






- Disconnect the connector - arrow -.






- Remove the interior lamp.

Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal.
