Driver and Front Passenger Door Warning Lamp and Bulb

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Removal Wedge (3409)

• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

• When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying tool ( (3409) , screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.

• Removal and installation for all entry lights is performed in the same way and is only described for one light.

• Check the entry lamps using the output diagnostic test mode on each door control module.

Warning Lamp Bulb.

Door Warning Lamp

• Driver door warning lamp (W30)

• Front passenger door warning lamp (W36)

• Left rear door warning lamp (W37)

• Right rear door warning lamp (W38)

Removing

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and turn the key to the 0 position.

- Pry out the lamp carefully using (3409) or a screwdriver - arrows -.






- Disconnect the connector and remove the lamp.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

Door Warning Lamp Bulb

- Pry the diffusion lens carefully out of the housing - arrow -.






- Remove the bulb - 1 - straight out of the socket.






- Wedge-base bulb: 12V, 5W

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
