Front Passenger Airbag -disabled- Indicator Lamp (K145)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Removal Wedge (3409)

Read all the Safety Precautions before working on the the airbag.

• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

• When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying tool ( (3409) , screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removing

- Pry out the frame carefully from the - 1 - radio/navigation system and the climate controls.






- Disconnect the connector - arrow -.

- Remove the trim frame - 1 - and front passenger airbag disabled indicator lamp.

- Press the locking mechanisms away from each other in - direction of arrow - and remove the front passenger airbag disabled indicator lamp - 1 -.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
