Front Instrument Panel Cover Decorative Strip

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim removal wedge (3409)

Removing

- Remove the front instrument panel cover. Refer to => [ Front Instrument Panel Cover ] Front Instrument Panel Cover.

- Loosen all the tabs - 5 - on the decorative strip - 2 - out of the retainers - 6 - using trim removal wedge (3409) , starting from the outside.

- Remove the decorative strip - 2 - from the front instrument panel cover - 1 -.






Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Check all the fasteners for damage and replace if necessary.

• Install the decorative strip - 2 - starting in the center.

- Insert the center tab - 4 - on the decorative strip - 2 - into the mount - 3 - and insert the remaining tabs - 5 - starting from the center and working out.

- Lock all the tabs - 5 - into the retainers - 6 -.
