Fluid Reservoir
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
• A/C Service Station (ROB134APF)
• Observe notes => [ Refrigerant Circuit, Specialized Repairs ] Procedures.
Removing
There is a danger of ice-up.
Refrigerant leaks out if refrigerant circuit is not discharged.
Refrigerant must be extracted before opening the refrigerant circuit. If refrigerant circuit is not opened within 10 minutes of extraction, pressure may form in refrigerant circuit due to evaporation. Extract refrigerant once more.
- Extract refrigerant using (ROB134APF) , only then open the refrigerant circuit. See notes, refer to => [ Refrigerant Circuit, Specialized Repairs ] Procedures.
- Remove the front bumper.
- If present, remove the bolt - 2 - and remove the retaining clip.
- Unscrew bolts - 1 - and pull fluid reservoir with dryer cartridge upward and out.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
• First tighten the bolts - 1 - to 4.2 Nm ± 0.7 Nm and then the bolt - 2 -.
• When installing cooler, ensure that sealing strips are seated correctly on cooler.
