Removing






Perform the following:

- Support the hood.

- Remove the support rod - 1 - from the clip - 3 -.

- Move the support rod - 1 - forward and pull it out of the rubber mount - 4 -.

Installation






Perform the following:

- Check the clip - 3 - for damage. Replace it if necessary.

- Position the rubber mount - 4 - and insert the support rod - 1 - into it.

- Install the clip - 3 - into the lock carrier - 2 - and then insert the support rod into the clip.
