Torque Converter, Draining

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Use Oil Collecting and Extracting Device (V.A.G 1782)

Drain the torque converter if the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) is dirty:

- Extract the ATF from the torque converter using the oil collecting and extracting device (V.A.G 1782) and the oil extraction sensor.
