When heat-shrinking crimp connections, be careful not to damage any other wiring, plastic parts or insulating material with the hot nozzle of the (VAS 1978/14).

Always follow the operating instructions for the (VAS 1978/14) !

(VAS 1978/14) is used in conjunction with Shrink Element For Hot Air Blower (VAS 1978/15) to heat-shrink the crimp connections. After crimping, crimp connections must be heat-shrunk using the (VAS 1978/14) to prevent moisture penetration.



The (VAS 1978/14) is a component of Wiring Harness Repair Set (VAS 1978) / Wiring Harness Repair Set (VAS 1978A) / Wiring Harness Repair Set (VAS 1978B).

Heat-shrinking crimp connections using (VAS 1978/14) => [ Wire Break with Single Repair Point ] Wire Break with Single Repair Point, or => [ Wire Break with Dual Repair Point ] Wire Break with Dual Repair Point.
