The Crimping Pliers (Base Tool) (VAS 1978/1-2) , with the Insert For Crimping Pliers (VAS 1978/2) is a component of the Wiring Harness Repair Set (VAS 1978) / Wiring Harness Repair Set (VAS 1978A) / Wiring Harness Repair Set (VAS 1978B) and is used to crimp the crimp connection during wiring harness repair.











• Crimp Pliers (Base Tool) (VAS 1978/1-2) can be used together with exchangeable heads exchangeable head 0.35-2,5 mm/2 (VAS 1978/1-1) or Head Adapter 4.0-6,0mm/2 (VAS 1978/2A) can also be used to crimp the connections as an alternative. • Always be sure to use the correct crimping slot for the crimping connection used.

• Do not crimp wire insulation.
