Steering Mounted Controls Assembly: Service and Repair

Steering Wheel Radio Control Switch, from MY 10

Removing and installing the buttons on the right and left sides is identical.

Removing

- Remove the driver side airbag.

- Remove screw - arrow -.






- Remove the block of buttons.

- Disconnect the connector - arrow - from the button block.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

• Make sure to route the wires between both blocks of buttons as illustrated - arrows -.






• Make sure the black connector is connected to the left block of buttons - arrow -.






- Code the steering column electronic systems control module. Refer to => [ Multifunction Steering Wheel Functions, Adapting ] Testing and Inspection.

Torque specifications: 2 Nm
