Removing

Perform the following:

- Install the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136) on the engine/transmission holder (VAS 6095).

Vehicles with seat height adjustment

- Bring seat to the uppermost position.

All vehicles

- Remove the front seat => [ Front Seat ] Front Seat.

- Secure the seat on the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136).

- Remove the passenger occupant detection system control module (J706) => [ Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module ] Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module.

- Loosen the clips - 1 -.

- Remove the bracket - 2 - from the seat frame - 3 - in - direction of arrow -.






Installation

Perform the following:

- Install in reverse order of removal.
