The plastic guides will have very small grooves on them caused by overloading the safety belt system (for example, caused by an accident). On the other hand, chafing, caused by frequent usage, can be recognized by a smooth abrasion.

- Check plastic for deformation, rupture and tearing.

• For groove build-up and/or damage, replace seat belt completely with lock.
