1 Wiring harness

• Wiring harness with connector passenger occupant detection system pressure sensor (G452)

• Pay attention the exact wire routing. Refer to => [ Passenger Occupant Detection System Pressure Sensor ] Passenger Occupant Detection System Pressure Sensor

2 Front seat cushion

• Must not be separated from the passenger occupant detection system pressure sensor (G452)

• The components are separated from each other; replace both components

• It is not necessary to replace the passenger occupant detection system control module (J706)

3 Positioning aids

• Positioning aids on the passenger occupant detection system pressure sensor (G452)

• Before applying the glue, make sure the positioning aids line up with the positioning aids on the front seat cushion. Refer to => [ (Item 5) Positioning aids ].

4 Passenger occupant detection system pressure sensor (G452)

• May not be separated from the front seat cushion cover

• The components are separated from each other; replace both components

• Replace the heating element if the vehicle has seat heating.

• It is not necessary to replace the passenger occupant detection system control module (J706)

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Passenger Occupant Detection System Pressure Sensor ] Passenger Occupant Detection System Pressure Sensor

5 Positioning aids

• Positioning aids on the front seat cushion upholstery

• Before applying the glue, make sure the positioning aids line up wit the positioning aids on the passenger occupant detection system pressure sensor (G452) => [ (Item 3) Positioning aids ]

6 Adhesion surfaces

• Adhesion surface for gluing to the front seat cushion cover

• Remove the protective film just before applying the glue.

7 Bolt

• Bolt for passenger occupant detection system control module (J706)

• 1.5 Nm

8 Bracket

• Passenger occupant detection system control module (J706) bracket

• Clipped to the seat frame

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module Bracket ] Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module Bracket

9 Seat Occupied Recognition Control Module (J706)

• Diagnostic-capable

• If the passenger occupant detection system control module (J706) is being replaced, then it not necessary to replace passenger occupant detection system pressure sensor (G452)

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module ] Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module

10 Connector

• Connector passenger occupant detection system pressure sensor (G452) to passenger occupant detection system control module (J706)

• Pay attention the exact wire routing. Refer to => [ Passenger Occupant Detection System Pressure Sensor ] Passenger Occupant Detection System Pressure Sensor

11 Connector

• Passenger occupant detection system control module (J706) voltage supply connector

12 Connector

• Coupling location of the passenger occupant detection system to the vehicle electrical system
