Compass Magnetic Field Sensor (G197)

The compass magnetic field sensor is inside the rear lid.

Removing


• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

- Remove the rear lid trim panel.

- Remove the compass magnetic field sensor - 1 - from the bracket - 2 - with a small screwdriver.






- Disconnect the connector - 2 - and remove the compass magnetic field sensor - 1 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

- Calibrate the compass again.
