Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
• Torque Wrench (5-50 Nm) (V.A.G 1331)
Removing
- Remove the noise insulation.
- Remove the bolts - 9 through 1 - and remove the oil separator.
Risk of contaminating the lubricating system.
• Seal the opening with a clean cloth.
Installing
• Always replace gaskets and seals.
• Install only approved clamps for securing hose connections.
Install in reverse order of removal. When doing this note the following:
- Tighten the bolts in sequence - 1 through 9 -.
Tightening specification: 9 Nm
