1 ABS Control Module (J104)

• Component location: on the ABS hydraulic unit (N55) inside the engine compartment on the right side.

• Do not disconnect connector before successfully completing On Board Diagnostic (OBD). Switch ignition off before separating connector.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ ABS Control Module (J104) and ABS Hydraulic Unit (N55) ] ABS Control Module (J104) and ABS Hydraulic Unit (N55).

2 ABS Hydraulic Unit (N55)

• Component location: in engine compartment, right.

The ABS hydraulic unit consists of the following:

• ABS hydraulic pump (V64).

• Valve block (contains inlet and outlet valves).

• ABS Hydraulic Pump and valve block must not be separated from each other.

• Removing and installing, refer to=> [ ABS Control Module (J104) and ABS Hydraulic Unit (N55) ] ABS Control Module (J104) and ABS Hydraulic Unit (N55).

3 ABS Warning Lamp (K47)

• Component location: In the instrument cluster.

• Function, refer to => [ Level Control System Indicator Lamps ] Level Control System Indicator Lamps.

4 Traction Control Indicator Lamp (K86)

• Component location: In the instrument cluster.

• Function, refer to=> [ Level Control System Indicator Lamps ] Level Control System Indicator Lamps.

5 Brake System Warning Lamp (K118)

• Component location: In the instrument cluster.

• Function, refer to => [ Level Control System Indicator Lamps ] Level Control System Indicator Lamps.

6 Brake Light Switch (F)

• Includes Brake Pedal Switch (F47).

• Component location: on brake master cylinder.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Brake Lamp Switch ] Service and Repair.

7 Diagnostic Connection

• Component location: driver side footwell cover.

8 Rear Wheel Bearing Unit

• The ABS sensor ring is installed in the wheel bearing.

9 Rear ABS Wheel Speed Sensor

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rear Torsion Beam Axle ABS Components Overview, with Disc Brakes ] Rear Torsion Beam Axle ABS Components Overview, with Disc Brakes.

10 Front Wheel Bearing Unit

• The ABS sensor ring is installed in the wheel bearing.

11 Front Speed Sensor
