Inner Door Seal

Inner Door Seal

The inner door seals are equipped at the factory with sealant, applied to the door flange and then rolled on.

The sealant on the inside will be distributed when the seal is removed. The edges will slightly get bent upward when doing this. If the seal is being installed again, the sealing performance and proper seating are no longer guaranteed.

For this reason, every seal, that has been removed completely, must be replaced with a "hammer-stroke seal".

With partially removed seals, press the edges of the seal together before installing.

The following describes removing and installing the right inner door seal. Removing and installing the left inner door seal is identical.
