Side Luggage Compartment Trim Panel

• Removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle is described here. Removing and installing on the right side is identical.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition.

- Remove the luggage compartment carpet. Refer to => [ Luggage Compartment Carpet ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the backrest. Refer to => [ Backrest ] Backrest.

- Remove the wheel housing trim:

• Wheel housing trim without side airbag. Refer to => [ Wheel Housing Trim, Vehicles without Side Airbag ] Wheel Housing Trim, Vehicles without Side Airbag.

• Wheel housing trim with side airbag. Refer to => [ Wheel Housing Trim, Vehicles with Side Airbag ] Wheel Housing Trim, Vehicles with Side Airbag.

- Remove the rear lock carrier cover. Refer to => [ Rear Lock Carrier Cover ] Rear Lock Carrier Cover.

- Remove the clips - 1 -.

- Remove the trim panel - 2 - in - direction of arrow -. Loosen the trim panel from the rear lid seal molding.

- Depending on the vehicle equipment level, disconnect any wiring harnesses and remove the trim panel - 2 - from the vehicle.






Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.

• Check all the fasteners for damage and replace if necessary.

• Make sure the side luggage compartment trim panel fits inside the rear lid seal molding after it is installed.
