Side Luggage Compartment Trim Panel






Side Luggage Compartment Trim Panel

Removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle is described here. Removing and installing on the right side is identical.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition.

- Remove the luggage compartment carpet. Refer to => [ Luggage Compartment Carpet ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the backrest. Refer to => [ Backrest ] Backrest.

- Remove the wheel housing trim:

Wheel housing trim without side airbag. Refer to => [ Wheel Housing Trim, Vehicles without Side Airbag ] Wheel Housing Trim, Vehicles without Side Airbag.

Wheel housing trim with side airbag. Refer to => [ Wheel Housing Trim, Vehicles with Side Airbag ] Wheel Housing Trim, Vehicles with Side Airbag.

- Remove the rear lock carrier cover. Refer to => [ Rear Lock Carrier Cover ] Rear Lock Carrier Cover.

- Remove the clips - 1 -.

- Remove the trim panel - 2 - in - direction of arrow -. Loosen the trim panel from the rear lid seal molding.

- Depending on the vehicle equipment level, disconnect any wiring harnesses and remove the trim panel - 2 - from the vehicle.






Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.

Check all the fasteners for damage and replace if necessary.

Make sure the side luggage compartment trim panel fits inside the rear lid seal molding after it is installed.
