Sun Visor: Service and Repair

Sun Visor

• Removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle is described here. Removing and installing on the right side is identical.

Removing

- Remove the cover/retainer - 2 - from the sun visor mount - 1 -.






• If only the sun visor is to be removed, the bolt - 3 - and the sun visor mount - 2 - do not have to be removed.

- Remove the sun visor - 4 - from the sun visor mount - 2 -.

- Loosen the clip - 1 - on the sun visor mount - 5 -.

- Remove the sun visor mount - 5 - from the roof crossmember and remove the sun visor - 4 -.

- Open the cap on the sun visor mount - 2 - and remove the screw - 3 - (2.0 Nm).

- Remove the sun visor mount - 2 - from the roof crossmember.






Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.

• Check all the fasteners for damage and replace if necessary.
