Scuff Plate: Service and Repair

Sill Panel Trim

• Removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle is described here. Removing and installing on the right side is identical.

Removing

- Remove the wheel housing trim:

• Wheel housing trim without side airbag. Refer to => [ Wheel Housing Trim, Vehicles with Side Airbag ] Wheel Housing Trim, Vehicles with Side Airbag.

• Wheel housing trim with side airbag. Refer to => [ Wheel Housing Trim, Vehicles without Side Airbag ] Wheel Housing Trim, Vehicles without Side Airbag.

- Remove the nut - 4 -.

- Remove the sill panel strip - 3 - from the front of the sill panel and from the molding.

- Loosen the guides - 2 - on the sill panel strip - 3 - from the lower B-pillar trim.

- Remove the sill panel strip - 3 - from the back of the sill panel and from the molding.

- Remove the seat belt - 1 - through the opening in the sill panel strip - 3 -.






Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.

• Check all the fasteners for damage and replace if necessary.
