Rear Cross-Member Bushing: Service and Repair

Crossbrace Bonded Rubber Bushing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Sleeve (2040)

• Assembly Tool (3350)

• Thrust Plate (VW 401)

• Punch (VW 412)

• Sleeve (VW 416 B)

Perform the Following Work:

- Remove the crossbrace. Refer to => [ Crossbrace ] Crossbrace.

Removing

- Mount the special tools as illustrated and remove the bonded rubber bushing.

Installing

- Install the special tools as illustrated and install the bonded rubber bushing.
