- Open the hood.

- Remove the cover for the cable coupling - 2 - above the headlamp on the driver side from the lock carrier.

- Remove the cover - 2 - from the cables - 1 - and - 3 - - arrows a -.

- Move the cable - 1 - 90° - arrow b - and then remove it - 1 - from the its retainer - 3 - in - direction of arrow c -.

• Make sure the grommets - 4 - and - 5 - are installed correctly when installing the cable - 3 -.

• Before closing the hood, make sure the hood release lever and the cable are working correctly.
