Fuel Door Release Actuator: Service and Repair

Fuel Filler Door Unlock Motor

Removing






- Loosen the right luggage compartment trim panel - 1 - at the top until the connector - 2 - is accessible. Do not remove the luggage compartment trim panel.

- Disconnect the connector - 2 - from the fuel filler door unlock motor (V155) - 3 -.






- Remove the fuel filler door unit. Refer to => [ Fuel Filler Door Unit ] Fuel Filler Door Unit.

- Remove the rubber grommet - 3 - from the side panel and remove the wiring harness - 2 - and connector - 1 - from the side panel.

- Pull the fuel tank lid unlock motor (V155) - 4 - in - direction of arrow a - and remove it - arrow b -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

- Make sure the grommet and the connector fit correctly.

- Install the fuel filler door unit. Refer to => [ Fuel Filler Door Unit ] Fuel Filler Door Unit.

- Attach the right luggage compartment trim panel.

• Make sure all unlock components work correctly.
