Front Bumper Cover

• Slight changes may have to be made to removal and installation procedures of front bumper cover, depending upon equipment installed in vehicle.

Removing






- Remove the radiator grille. Refer to => [ Radiator Grille ] Radiator Grille.

- Remove the left and right bolts - 2 - inside the wheel housing (facing up).

- Remove the left and right wheel housing liner bolts - 3 -.

- Remove the bolts - 4 - from underneath.

A second technician is required for the rest of the removal procedure.

- Pull the front bumper cover - 1 - out of the guides on the left and right sides of the fender - arrows a -.

- Remove the front bumper cover - 1 - - arrows b - from the vehicle. A second technician is needed for this.

- Disconnect the connectors from any electrical components.

- Disconnect the hose coupling on windshield washer fluid hose.

Installing






- Connect the hose coupling on windshield washer fluid hose.

- Disconnect the connectors from any electrical components.

- Install the front bumper cover - 1 - into the center guide on the lock carrier.

- Push the front bumper cover - 1 - into the guides on the left and right fenders until it locks.

- Pay attention to the parallel alignment and the gap dimensions.

- Tighten the bolts - 2 -, - 3 - and - 4 -. Refer to => [ Front Bumper Cover Assembly Overview ] Front Bumper Cover Assembly Overview.

- Install the radiator grille. Refer to => [ Radiator Grille ] Radiator Grille.
