Trim removal wedge (3409)

Replacement part number for Radio Navigation System (RNS) is located on a sticker on the radio housing.

Always deactivate the electronic anti-theft protection when replacing the RNS. Refer to => [ Electronic Anti-Theft
Protection, Deactivating ] RNS 315+ (From 2012 =>). Give the customer the new radio code.

If the radio code is not known, it can be retrieved via the known systems. The RNS serial number is needed. It is on a sticker on the side of the RNS housing. The serial number is also stamped into the side of the RNS itself.

If an RNS from one vehicle is to be installed in another vehicle, make sure the RNS from both vehicles have the same replacement part number. Otherwise the navigation system will malfunction because rotation angle sensor setting in the RNS does not match the vehicle.
