Towing Module: Service and Repair

Towing Recognition Control Module (J345), from MY 10


• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

The "replace the towing recognition control module" procedure must always be performed to read the codes that are stored in the module before the towing recognition control module is removed, refer to => [ Replacing, from MY 10 ] Replacing, from MY 10.

Removal

- Remove trim in the left of the luggage compartment.

- Remove the screws - 1 - and - 2 - and then remove the towing recognition control module - 4 - from the plate.






- Disconnect the connectors - 3 -.

Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:
