Checking Bus Participants

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Vehicle Diagnostic Tester

This checks the connection between the data bus on board diagnostic interface (J533) and the other bus systems.

Procedure

- Connect the Vehicle diagnostic tester.

- Select Guided Fault Finding.

- Use the GO TO button to select the "function/component selection" and the following menu options one after the other:

• Body

• Electrical Equipment

• 01 - On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capable systems

• 19 - Data bus on board diagnostic interface J533

• Functions of the Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface

• Adapt the intended installation list control module
