Removing






- Pull the operating lever - 2 - and unlock the hood.

- Insert a small screwdriver into the gap between the operating lever - 2 - and the clip - 3 -.

- Pry the clip - 3 - out of the lever - 2 - - arrow - and then remove the lever from the bracket - 1 -.

To perform additional work on the mounting bracket, remove the lower A-pillar trim panel.

Installation






- Slide clip - 3 - completely into operating lever - 2 -.

- Then push operating lever - 2 - onto mount in the bracket - 1 - and lock the operating lever.

• Before closing the hood, test the release lever and the release.
