Parking Aid Control Module (J446), 8-Channel, all Models from December 2008

The parking aid control module is located behind the instrument panel on the driver side above the relay panel.


• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

Removal

- Remove the left trim on the driver side.

- Remove the screw - arrow - from the parking aid control module above the relay panel.






- Remove the windshield wiper system. Refer to => [ Windshield Wiper System ] Windshield Wiper System.

- Remove the nuts - arrows - and the cover - 1 -.






- Disconnect the connectors - arrows - and remove the parking aid control module - 1 - upward from the bracket.






Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Tighten the screw on the parking aid control module to 1.5 Nm.
