Hand Vacuum Pump (VAS 6213)

Test Sequence

- Disconnect the connectors - arrows - from the EVAP canister purge regulator valve 1 (N80) and the low fuel pressure sensor (G410).






- Remove the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve 1 - B - from the hose - A -.

- Place the slide ring - 1 - for the hand vacuum pump (VAS 6213) in position - A - for "vacuum".






- Connect the hand vacuum pump (VAS 6213) to the hose for the double check-valve - arrow -.






- Operate the hand vacuum pump (VAS 6213) several times. The vacuum must build up pressure.

If there is no vacuum, replace the EVAP canister.
