Steering Column Combination Switch (E595), Valeo

Follow the specified sequence when removing and installing steering column switch components. Refer to=> [ Steering Column Switch Components, Removal and Installation Sequence ] Steering Column Switch Components, Removal and Installation Sequence.

Removal

- Remove the steering wheel.

- Remove the steering column trim.

- Remove the steering column electronics control module (J527). Refer to=> [ Steering Column Electronic Control Module (J527) ] Steering Column Electronic Control Module (J527).






- Open the 3 latching mechanisms - arrows - and remove the complete steering column combination switch - 2 - straight backward from the steering column switch mount.

Installation

- Slide the steering column combination switch straight onto the guides on the steering column switch base carrier until it locks in place.

- Install all components accordingly in the reverse order.
