While depressing voice recognition (Microphone button) button the radio volume is muted.

Service
Validation
^ Depress VR button on steering wheel to validate whether radio is muted or VR assistant starts.
Did VR assistant start?
YES >> This bulletin does not apply.
NO >> Observe Figure 3, mute symbol present, continue to programming.
Programming
^ Using VSD navigate to address word 16 (steering wheel electronic).
^ Select 009 - Coding.
^ Select 009.02 - Plain text coding.
^ Select 25 - Push to talk.
^ Select pull down arrow.
^ Select "installed".
^ Once coding is complete this screen will appear.
