General Information

If one or more headlamp mounting tabs are damaged or broken off, they can be replaced by installing the repair set. It is not necessary to replace entire headlamp.

• Check whether there is any further damage on the headlamp that makes installation of the repair set superfluous.

• The left and right headlamps have different repair kits. Refer to Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

• Headlamps with halogen bulbs are bolted to the body at 3 points while headlamps with HID lamps and a cornering lamp are bolted at 4 points.

• Every repair kit contains the upper, inner, and lower headlamp mounting tab with the corresponding mounting bolts as well as an outer tab for headlamps with HID lamps and a cornering lamp.

• The following illustrations show the tabs on a left headlamp. Repairing a right headlamp is identical.
