Front Passenger Airbag Deactivation Key Switch (E224)

The front passenger airbag deactivation key switch is installed in the glove compartment.

Follow the safety precautions when working on the airbag.

Removal

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

- Remove the glove compartment.

- Release and disconnect the harness connector - arrow -.






- Release the retaining tabs - arrows - and press the key switch from the inside out of the glove compartment.






Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
