Online system test

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS5051B)

The following steps will be performed by this test program:

• System test for online connection

• Test of user authorization

• Test of correct wire connection to Volkswagen database

The requirement for this is the online connection (network connection) of the tester:

- Connect the (VAS5051B).

- In the (VAS5051B) , select the "Guided fault finding" operating mode.

- Using the "Go To" button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:

• Body

• Electrical Equipment

• 01 - On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capable systems

• Anti-Theft Immobilizer

• Functions

• Online system test
